About this site

Investigations of a Different Kind is an attempt to make sense of the complex world around us through interactive tools that allow for self-directed exploration and understanding. The datasets and research presented are free to use with attribution and I do not intend on putting anything behind a paywall.

Key influences include Forensic Architecture, The Pudding, Bartosz Ciechanowski and FT Alphaville.

About me

I'm a Data Scientist who has worked predominantly in the climate space before recently being made redundant, hence why this exists. I currently live in London with my partner and dog, Juniper.

I used to be a pretty good runner but now I'm just ok, I like films and logging them, and I am a mediocre drummer who's too afraid to find a band to play with. The world is in a rough place right now and I hope I can somehow make it a little better.
